Erie: Music Room and Entertainment Basement
A family in Erie wanted a lower level that could serve as a full rehearsal space for their teenage children while still functioning as an adult entertaining area. The result: a sound-treated music room with acoustic wall panels and isolated flooring, a separate bar lounge with custom alder cabinetry and a wet bar, and a full bath. The music room and lounge are separated by a glass partition that allows visual connection while maintaining sound isolation.
The acoustic treatment is custom-built diffuser panels integrated into the wall finish, not aftermarket foam. Project cost: approximately $110,000, completed in 14 weeks from permit approval to final inspection.
